Silverwood Enterprises has been serving Traverse City and surrounding areas since 1985. Providing quality custom home building for Grand Traverse County residents and surrounding areas, Kendall Smith has attained a reputable business in both selling and building real estate.
Our team has a combined 80 years of experience, while the owner, Kendall Smith, has the invaluable background of being a third generation home builder. Read the profiles of the hardworking members on our team and get to know who you’ll be working with!
Founder and President of Silverwood, Kendall comes with invaluable experience as a 3rd generation builder, who started going on job sites at 8 years old. He not only brings his 30 years of field training as a custom framing contractor to each project, but also his work ethic and an attention to detail - traits that are shared by the entire Silverwood team.
Kendall takes pride in being known as one of Traverse City’s Premiere Custom Home Builders. He recognizes that the success of Silverwood wouldn’t be possible without the loyalty and support of the suppliers and sub-contractors he has built over the years.
Kendall and his wife Kathy are one of the founding families of Baypointe/Kensington church in Traverse City. Kendall was also on the original Board of Directors and was instrumental in starting the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. When Kendall is not building other people’s dreams, he enjoys golfing, boating on West Bay, and spending time with family and grandkids.
